Fleet Safety Program Specialist
**Overview** The Fleet Safety Program Specialist supports the organization’s safety initiatives by providing expertise in telematics and fleet operations. This role focuses on analyzing telematics data, identifying fleet safety risks, and collaborating with the safety team and operations management to develop and implement mitigation strategies. **Responsibilities** + Telematics Analysis and Safety Support + Interpret telematics data to identify safety trends, such as speeding, harsh braking, and other risk indicators, and provide actionable insights. + Support the Safety team in developing interventions based on telematics data to address high-risk behaviors and improve driver safety. + Collaborate with operations management teams to help them understand telematics insights and implement safety-focused changes. + Fleet Operations Support + Leverage a strong understanding of fleet operations, including maintenance, compliance, and vehicle lifecycle management, to support safety efforts. + Provide guidance on integrating telematics insights into broader fleet management strategies. + Data Visualization and Reporting + Ensure that telematics data and reports are accessible and understandable for non-technical audiences. + Present findings to Safety and Operations teams to support data-driven decision-making. + Use tools to create reports that communicate safety-related metrics and trends to stakeholders Requirements + Education and Experience + Bachelor’s degree in Fleet Management, Business Administration, Safety, or a related field preferred. + 3+ years of experience in fleet operations, and telematics systems. + Skills + Proficiency in telematics systems and data analysis tools required + Strong analytical skills, capable of interpreting telematics data to identify trends and inform decisions. + Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data to diverse audiences. + Knowledge of fleet operations, including maintenance, compliance, and risk mitigation processes. + Experience using Excel, Power BI, or similar tools, to create dashboards and reports that communicate metrics and trends to stakeholders, preferred. + Attributes + Excellent written and verbal communication abilities + Collaborative and solutions-oriented, with the ability to work across departments. + Detail-oriented and proactive in identifying fleet safety risks and improvement opportunities. + Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. **Pay:** $60,000-$85,000 The pay listed is the salary range for this position, an estimate and not guaranteed.
