Supervision Works under the general supervision of Logistics and Operations Manager

Required Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma Three (3) years’ working in facilities management or fleet management Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record Preferred Qualifications Associate’s degree Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management System(CMMS) and/or Fuel Management System(FMS) Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of vehicles, equipment, and services required to operate in a Higher-Education Facilities environment Knowledge of fuel delivery, maintenance, and reporting systems Knowledge of vehicle and equipment services, registration, and documentation Skilled in oral and written communication Skilled in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Smartsheet Skilled in providing excellent customer service and solving problems Ability to maintain data integrity and consistency Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle or equipment on the road and on site Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment and a setting that is urban Ability to think critically to effectively solve and communicate problems in a fast-paced environment where the demands for work are varied, and unpredictable in scope and volume Ability to analyze data and provide sound recommendations based on policy, procedure, practice, and existing regulations Ability to delegate work appropriately to faculty and staff to meet College and campus deliverables Physical Demands and Work Environment Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representatives of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Position Information Job Title Fleet Supervisor Posting Number F005350 Position Status Full Time Assignment Length This field only applies to Faculty Grant Funded No Category Plant Operations Class Code 61 Starting Pay $51,688 Special Note Location District Department DT Physical Plant Job Summary Reporting to the Logistics Operations Manager, the Fleet Supervisor is responsible for the overall management of the TCC fleet of vehicles and ensures operational effectiveness of the Fuel Management System (FMS). Primary Duties and Responsibilities Essential Performance Requirements* Performs tasks related to vehicle fleet management, vehicular equipment management, vehicle documentation, and fuel management Responsible for vehicle inspections and registration renewals Prepares requisitions for system and vehicle related purchases following processes and procedures of the cCollege Manages and maintains vehicle data, driver’s data, Preventative Maintenance (PM) inspection data, and vehicle and equipment identification numbers Provides technical support in troubleshooting vehicle fueling devices Interfaces with the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) team for configuration or programming issues related to the operations of the system Reviews vehicle reports and requests to make recommendations for the rotation or replacement of fleet vehicles Coordinates with District Inventory Control for the purchasing, ordering, replacing, and out processing of vehicle Communicates updated vehicle list for insurance and distributes vehicle insurance cards with Safety and Emergency Management Works closely with Campus Mechanics in coordinating vehicle inspection, recalls, and other vehicle maintenance/repair needs Performs pick-up and delivery of vehicles and vehicular equipmentService Excellence Participates on behalf of the College in external community organizations and associations as assigned to support the essential performance requirements Attends the workplace regularly, reports to work punctually, and follows a work schedule to keep up with the demands of the worksite Completes all required training and professional development sessions sponsored through Tarrant County College (TCC) Supports the values of the College: teaching excellence, student success, innovation, and creativity and service to the College Supports the mission, values and 3 Goals and 8 Principles of the College
