Our Client, a Food Manufacturing company, is looking for a Fleet Transportation Associate for their Springdale, AR location. Responsibilities: + This entry level management position is responsible for learning all aspects of fleet operations at Client Foods. This position will work with an experienced supervisor to gain the necessary training and knowledge to prepare them for success within fleet operations and within Client Foods. + The associate will be involved in daily duties surrounding the dispatch operations of fleet trucks including coordinating with drivers covering unassigned loads monitoring loads for on time delivery manage driver safety and handling any problems that occur outside normal office hours. + May work within varies departments within transportation including load planning shuttle regional operations to grasp an overall picture of the operation. Requirements: + Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred. + Experience: Must have recent, relevant experience.6 months of long-haul dispatch experience required. Knowledge of DOT regulations a plus. + Computer Skills: Requires basic computer skills such as e-mail ,excel word. + Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills. + Special Skills: Motivated self-starter who has the desire to learn and the ability to lead and motivate others.
