Marriott’s Digital Products team is focused on creating transformative, seamless experiences to increase the share of bookings and revenue coming through the company’s direct Digital channels. We do this by delivering product enhancements that anticipate and address customer needs and pain points throughout the travel journey.
The **Senior Manager, Product Owner, Digital Brand Experiences** will play a critical role in supporting and amplifying Marriott’s lodging products across the end-to-end digital experience. They will partner closely with various teams including The Luxury Group, All-Inclusive, User Experience, Engineering, and additional stakeholders from other growth segments.
The Product Owner will oversee the day-to-day management of an agile squad, developing brand-focused products, such as RitzCarlton.com. They are responsible for maintaining and prioritizing the product backlog and ensuring the development team focuses on the most critical tasks driving the most value for the company. The person in this role will be comfortable leading and managing conversations across the broader organization as well as translating customer needs into actionable user stories and requirements.
In addition to Product Owner responsibilities, this associate will be asked to assist with cross-functional program management for digital initiatives involving one or more of Marriott’s unique brands / lodging products.

They should be moderately technical, thrive in the creative process, be comfortable making difficult decisions based on data, and be willing to jump-in and support more tactical, hands-on work when needed.

**Required Education and Experience**
+ Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Marketing, Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, related major, or equivalent experience/education
+ 4+ years’ experience in digital products/technology, sales and marketing, management operations, or related professional area
+ 4+ years of digital product management experience within an Agile/Scrum team.
+ 4+ years of experience working with content management systems, Adobe Experience Manager preferred.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Demonstrable experience working in an Agile/Scrum software development environment.
+ Ability to produce artifacts such as product requirements documents, epics, and user stories that are actionable and clear for cross-functional team members.
+ Experience distilling a high-level product roadmap into an actionable delivery schedule that drives incremental value in pursuit of a broader goal.
+ Ability to clearly articulate a product vision, business objective, or status update to peers and leaders alike.
+ Ability to use strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to brainstorm solutions with different functions and explain the pros and cons of each option.
+ Ability to synthesize insights such as competitive analysis, product performance data, or user research to identify opportunities that inform the product roadmap.
**CORE WORK ACTIVITIES **
+ Partner with stakeholders from Brand, Loyalty, Continent, Digital Products, and more to drive execution of product roadmap.
+ Produce artifacts such as epics and user stories that support execution of product roadmap.
+ Combine data analytics, platform/product metrics, user experience research, and company goals to inform prioritization of product backlog.
+ Coordinate backlog for defect resolution. Provide clear vision and scope documentation, use cases, requirements to support development.
+ Help define new product features or optimizations of existing products and incorporate them into the roadmap.
+ Define platform features and functionality that deliver frictionless and innovative authoring workflows.
The pay range for this position is $52.06 to $83.46 per hour.
