Flex Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Job Summary

The Geisinger Bloomsburg ConvenientCare+ clinic provides patients with an alternative to the Emergency Department when prompt intervention is needed to treat worsening illness or exacerbation of a chronic condition.

Job Duties

Attractive flex schedule: 12- and 10-hour shifts, no overnight shiftsShifts: 12 hour (M-F) & 10 hour (S-S)Work autonomously with onsite physician support and limited administrative burdenSupport staff: Physicians, Advanced Practice Providers, RNs (available all hours of operation), Phlebomoy, Radiology TechsSpecialized Equipment: Telemedicine carts, negative pressure rooms, continuous vital sign monitoringDiagnostics: X-Ray, Ultrasound, CT, MRIHospital Admissions: If necessary, patients can be directly admitted to the hospital from this hospital-based clinicServices: Diagnostics, including laboratory and imaging studies (onsite), as well as various treatments
