Flexera Optimization Lead

The Flexera Optimization Lead plays a crucial role in ensuring that our Flexera One toolset (and some integrations) is correctly set up, configured, and maintained. The Lead collaborates closely with internal teams and external vendors to deliver key compliance and cost insights to key stakeholders, and ensure we are driving key value from the toolset.

Responsibilities:

Manage the defect and enhancement backlog for the product, establishing key stakeholder relationships and a well-defined process of prioritization.

Keep well aligned with the product/vendor roadmap to ensure that the value of new features and functionality can be realized.

Ensure support tickets are effectively managed through internal triage to the vendor portal to resolution.

Work alongside the respective software licensing SMEs to ensure that a high level of data quality is maintained.

Provide reports and configure dashboards in response to key stakeholder demand.

Share observed insights presenting a cost or compliance opportunity.

Ensure that BAU Maintenance processes and procedures are well documented.

Upskill and guide other stakeholders to allow them to gain value from the toolset.

Skills & Experience:

Bachelor's degree

Functional Knowledge: Requires SME level knowledge of the Flexera One Toolset. A knowledge of Software Asset Management fundamentals would be beneficial.

Business Expertise: Understands key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work.

Leadership: No supervisory responsibilities but may provide guidance to new associates.

Problem Solving: Solves standard problems by analysing possible solutions using experience, judgment and precedents.

Impact: Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team; works within guidelines and policies

Interpersonal Skills: Explains information to others in straightforward situations.

Career Path Opportunities:

This role provides a pathway to more senior SAM and Engineering roles, including SAM Manager and Tooling Engineer.
