Job Summary

This position is responsible for sales of Flexim products within Japan. The incumbent will develop sales plan and execute sales plan to achieve sales target. The incumbent will support existing customers, identify new opportunities, understand applications and customer requirements, conduct field trial, and propose applicable solutions to customers with designed sales channels.  

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Develop and execute Flexim sales plan Conduct demand creation activities including field trial and technical and application discussion with potential customers Generate bookings for the Flexim products to meet the Japan bookings target Keep management informed of potential issues relating to the execution of the orders, competition and regulatory changes Own the sales channels integration process in Japan Evaluate and manage the third-party distribution network Coordinate with area sales team to establish a business cadence Encourage the are sales teams and colleagues with a positive outlook and a winning mentality. Collaborate & work closely with customer care and service team for order management, project execution, and field service to ensure the appropriate delivery and support for the business to improve customer satisfaction. Provide timely sales data, reports, and analysis if any required.

Additional Responsibilities:

Engage with the Flexim team to coordinate and integrate training and marketing programs within the Emerson framework Participate in customer development activities such as trade shows, Industry fairs & conferences striving to promote the sale of products, solutions, and services of Measurement Solutions and, in particular, the advantages of a fully coordinated flow measurement portfolio

For This Role, You Will Need:

Experience in the business development and sales function Excellent communication skills and presentation skills Results-driven attitude Outstanding resilience Comfortable with change and able to succeed in contexts of uncertainty and complexity. Willingness to travel (50% of time). Fluent in written and spoken Japanese

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

Degree in Engineering or Science related field is preferred
