Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is hiring a Flight Analyst to support 737 MAX Deliveries team in Zhoushan, China.

This position will support delivery of Boeing 737 MAX airplanes from the Boeing Delivery Center in Zhoushan, China. The selected Flight Analyst will support aircraft testing and demonstration for customer acceptance prior to delivery. This will include inspection of the aircraft on ground and in flight, support of troubleshooting activities, and coordination with customer representatives. Duties will include acting as an in-flight crew member during testing and demonstration flights to ensure airplane quality, and to act as on-board safety focal in coordination with the flight deck crew.

Position Responsibilities:

Ensures avionics, electrical, hydraulic and structural aircraft systems meet performance standards.Assists with the definition, development, implementation and improvement of test procedures.Performs in-flight tests that measure integrated systems compliance with design, customer, and federal regulatory requirements.Diagnoses, documents and resolves problems during flight tests.Analyzes causes of system failures and works with engineering to resolve problems.Provides airline customers immediate technical consultation on the product features, reliability issues and problem resolution.Performs tests to diagnose and resolve aircraft system problems to assist with aircraft acceptance.Works under minimal direction.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Zhoushan, China after required training period at the Seattle Delivery Center in Seattle, WA. Annual training in Seattle USA will also be expected.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Possession of a current FAA Class II medical certificate (or CAAC equivalent) or the capability to obtain one.3+ years of experience in the maintenance of electrical, electronics, or hydraulic equipment,  ideally within an aircraft manufacturing setting.3+years of experience with the testing and troubleshooting of commercial aircraft Avionics and Electrical systems.3+ years of experience in the preparation of technical documents for aircraft systems.Willingness and ability to travel as required.Strong English communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with all levels of management.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):

Troubleshooting techniques and advanced knowledge of aircraft systems.Familiarity and experience with Boeing maintenance reference documents and tools, including but not limited to the FIM, AMM, MEL, SWPM, System Schematics, Wiring Diagrams, System Description Documents, and MyBoeingFleet.737 MAX or Avionics experience preferred.FAA/EASA/CAAC Avionics or Airframe & Power Plant licenses or equivalent.CAAC Maintenance Personal License with valid 737 MAX type rating if applicable.
