THE JOB:
It is the primary responsibility of the Flight Attendant to assess and respond to abnormal, aircraft emergency, and medical emergency situations that could occur on an aircraft without warning during any and all phases of flight and provide top quality customer service. The Flight Attendant is an integral and vital part of the flight crew, sharing responsibility for safety and participating in decision making with the pilots as it impacts the entire flight.
THE STARTING RATE:
$42.30/hourTHE DAY-TO-DAY:
Perform duties assigned by the Pilot in Command, Chief Flight Attendant, or Assistant Chief Flight Attendant
Maintain required periodic certification on emergency procedures and AED/CPR procedures
Assume complete charge of passengers and aircraft during normal and emergency situations, when necessary, maintain order and calm in the cabin at all times while the aircraft is under way
Provide emergency medical assistance for passengers when required
Conduct aircraft pre-flight procedures and ensure all the safety, galley and cabin equipment is ready for the flight
Provide superior customer experience for passengers
Ensure the catering order is complete and the need of their particular flight is satisfied
Adhere to the flight procedures to include arriving one and a half hours before each flight to adequately prepare for flight as well as follow chain of command to resolve issues that arise during day-to-day operations
Follow Company policies and procedures and all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Must be at least 21 years old.
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
2+ years of prior relevant flight attendant experience in a corporate and/or airline setting.
Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays.
Must be willing to relocate to the Atlantic City, New Jersey area
