The Airborne Mission Operations has an exciting opening for a Flight Operations Coordinator. This position is located at our Fort Bliss, TX office.
Primary Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing daily flight operations as required by Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) INST 8210.1Ensure compliance with DCMA 8210, flight and ground operations policies and procedures.Coordinate flight crew schedules with Pilots, Maintenance and Government personnel to ensure achievable operational planning.Prepare, verify and submit Government Flight Representative required documentationEfficiently and effectively coordinate and execute the planning, scope, development, design, and direction of daily flight operations.Create and manage air crew flight records. Coordinate with management to ensure adequate number of aircrew members are on-site for mission coverage (rotation planning).Track daily, weekly, and monthly flight statistics, identifying trends and formulating operational strategies.Provide daily feedback to Management on daily activities and perform other duties as required and/or directed by Management
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and eight (8) years of experience in flight operations management, one of which being in a supervisory role. Additional experience may be used in lieu of degree.You must have U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance.In-depth knowledge of US Army operations, aviation regulations, organization, terminology, and the execution of staff planning (Joint Military Decision Making Process) in a joint, combined and interagency environment.Proven communication skills to provide rapid and accurate feedback to the management team and directly to the customer regarding the day-to-day operations of the site.Strong interpersonal skills, ability to effectively work with both internal and external stakeholders, ability to work independently or with minimal direction.Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and database applications.Preferred Qualifications:

Pay Range:Pay Range $72,150.00 - $130,425.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
