Job Title: Flight Operations Systems EngineerJob Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Flight Operations Systems Engineer to join our team. This role involves designing, developing, and testing satellite/constellation operations procedures. You will develop and oversee the execution of Spacecraft In-Orbit Operations Procedures and associated training, creating Satellite Operation Manuals, and verifying and validating operations procedures for on-orbit commissioning, routine, and contingency operations.
Responsibilities
+ Conduct trade-off studies for designing, developing, and testing satellite/constellation operations procedures.
+ Develop and oversee the execution of Spacecraft In-Orbit Operations Procedures and associated training.
+ Create Satellite Operation Manuals and test procedures, and oversee their execution and training.
+ Verify and validate operations procedures for on-orbit commissioning, routine, and contingency operations.
+ Support In-Orbit Tests (IOT), anomaly resolution, and Fault Detection, Isolation, and Recovery (FDIR).
+ Assist with Satellite Simulator Operation and script development.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in LEO/MEO Satellite Operations.
+ Proficiency in Automated Satellite Operations.
+ Strong understanding of in-orbit test procedures.
+ Ability to develop and manage satellite operational manuals.
+ Expertise in verification and validation of operations procedures.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with satellite simulator operation and script development.
Work Environment
This is a 100% remote position with an expectation of 20% international travel. Join an exciting international company and contribute to innovative satellite operations.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $90.00/hr.
