Cross Country Education is seeking three highly adaptable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to anchor our team as Roving Floaters in the Montebello, CA area. Position Overview:

Maintain extreme flexibility and report daily to varying schools and sites within the district, with notification of assignment location often provided same-day (7:00 AM - 7:30 AM) or the evening prior by the Lead School Nurse. Provide essential medical and personal care services (e.g., feeding, toileting, ambulation, etc.) to students across diverse grade levels, adjusting immediately to hourly changes in assignments and varying student needs throughout the workday. Accurately document all provided care and communicate effectively with Lead School Nurses and site staff regarding student needs and daily logistics. Travel frequently between multiple school sites as needed and maintain timely communication regarding travel status and daily availability to ensure seamless continuity of care.

Qualifications: 

Valid California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) License Active CPR and First Aid Certification Valid Driver's License with reliable and insured personal transportation and the willingness to travel frequently between multiple school sites within the defined geographical area Proven experience working as a Floater, Roving, or Substitute staff member, demonstrating a high degree of comfort with continuous flexibility and unpredictable scheduling demands
