Job Description

Exciting Opportunity at MSK: We are looking for a Floater Pharmacist for our Main Campus Hospital!

 

Role Overview:

Serve as a fully integrated member of the Pharmacy Department to provide advanced clinical pharmacy services.Have a good understanding of inpatient operation and demonstrate flexibility and adaptability.Have a strong sense of ownership and willingness to learn in an empowering environment.Have a substantial understanding of computer and pharmacy systems.Have a supportive attitude towards others' beliefs and ideas.

Key Qualifications:

PharmD (or equivalent) is required.Current NY Pharmacist LicenseExperience in a hospital pharmacy setting and compounding of sterile IV preparations and Omnicell experience is preferred.

Core Skills:

Able to problem-solve operational, personnel, and patient issues.Detail-oriented and willing to adapt to changes in workflow to improve patient care .Known to deliver messages in a clear, compelling, and concise manner.Able to follow through on commitments and act with a clear sense of ownership.Resourceful and make sound decisions, even in the absence of complete informationPrepare Compounded Sterile Products inside the USP 797 cleanroom

Additional Information:

37.5 hours per week Sunday to Saturday. Shifts, hours, and weekends vary to meet the needs of the departmentLocation: 1275 York Avenue

Pay Range: $56.06-$89.65
