This teacher position requires crafting an enriched learning experience and creating a positive environment that helps to set the stage where milestones are celebrated and encouraged. Our program serves preschool children 6 weeks - 12 years of age. Programs include, Infant, Toddler, Preschool 1 Preschool 2, Pre-K, and Before and After Care. \n

Who Would I Interact with?\n
This position interacts daily with customers, the management team, and teaching staff just to name a few.\n

What are the day-to-day responsibilities?\n\nProvide patience with a listening ear. \nCommunicating appropriately and professionally with parents and fellow staff.\nExcellent writing skills to deliver child's progress to parents and other teachers.\nDesign an appropriate classroom arrangement to support the goals and development.\nCreativity: Using new and innovative ways to engage children to learn.\nInstructional Skills: Being able to communicate concepts. \nEmpathetic to children's emotions and parent's needs. \nParticipation in staff and training meetings.\nPresenting expectations that are appropriate to the child's age and developmental level.\nPlanning and implementing activities that develop self-esteem and social skills.\nBuilding teamwork.\nUsing assessment tools.\nCommitted to continuing education.\n\n

What are the requirements for this job?\n\nIntro to Childcare Professions or equivalent
CPR certified\nWorking knowledge in childhood education.\nProfessional communication and interpersonal skills.\nMust have a valid driver's license.\nExperience providing quality customer service. \n\n
