Flood Review Analyst

As a Flood Review Analyst in Loan Trading, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our trading operations. You will be responsible for assessing flood-related risks, managing documentation and compliance, coordinating with stakeholders, and assisting with projects to mitigate risks while ensuring timely and efficient processes. This role offers a unique opportunity to work within a collaborative team and contribute to the continuous improvement of our trading services.

Job responsibilities

Prepare and manage daily/weekly reports to track open items and assess risk, ensuring timely resolution of flood-related issues. Collaborate with administrative agents, lender's counsel, and legal teams to obtain necessary flood documentation and access deal sites. Review and verify flood documentation, including flood certificates and insurance policies, and engage with relevant committees to address complex issues. Build strong relationships with external agents and legal counsel to expedite flood reviews and resolve issues efficiently. Lead and manage internal projects to enhance business processes, mitigate risks, and improve productivity and effectiveness. Identify business opportunities, propose strategic solutions, and stay informed on industry trends to anticipate and address challenges.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Ability to review and interpret flood documentation, such as flood certificates and insurance policies. Strong problem-solving skills to address complex flood-related issues and develop effective solutions. Experience in managing projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring to ensure timely completion. Ability to lead initiatives that improve business processes and close operational gaps. Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate flood issues and solutions to internal and external stakeholders. Ability to collaborate effectively with administrative agents, legal counsel, and other key stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

BA or BS degree preferred (either Finance, Business Administration or Civil Engineer preferred). Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus. Familiarity with the flood laws, flood insurance programs and syndicated lending would be great.
