PAY: $17.75/hour + $1,500 Sign & Stay Bonus

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Responsible for the overall operation, maintenance, sanitation, and housekeeping of the Offal department. Performs all work in compliance with company policies, NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines and local, state and federal policies, laws and regulations.

                                    

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:                              

Maintain a clean work area around their assigned line.Wash floor and line during breaks.Ability to work cooperatively with supervisors, coworkersDo all tasks assigned by members of managementMust be able to follow directions and work in other departments as needed.Must be able to perform additional duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or equivalent

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

Fluency in the English language (written and verbal).Poultry experience preferred but not required

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS:

Follow Standard Operating Procedures and adhere to safety requirementsMust wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)PPE required but subject to change:  Hairnet, beard net, shoe covers, smock, earplugs

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to work in a wet and cold environment (45ºF, 4ºC)Ability to stand for an 8 hour shift
