Job Description Summary

The Floor Tech will work under the supervision of the Custodial Manager or Supervisor. The duties are to operate buffers, sweepers, strippers, mops and other equipment. Such duties shall be in accordance with established standards, instructions, and procedures of C&W Services.

The duties of a Floor Technician are to operate buffers, sweepers, strippers, mops and other equipment but not limited to the following:

PRINCIPLE DUTIES

We are hiring a Floor Technician that has experience ensuring customers have clean and orderly commercial or office space.Professional communication with the customers to make sure their expectations are met is essential.VacuumingMoppingBonnetingExtraction (wet/dry)Strip & wax floorCarpet spot removalTransport equipment, tools and suppliesMove furniture before/after cleanCommunicate changes, progress or problem areasUnderstand how to read MSDS sheetsProperly label chemicalsWear proper PPE when working with chemicals/equipmentExperience in the janitorial industry required, with floor/carpet care expertise preferredA pre-employment background screening and drug test will be requiredRead, write, speak EnglishMust have experience using floor machines

The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.


The compensation for the position is: $19.60 - $20.60
