The Opportunity:
Saint Luke’s Hospital, our Plaza location is currently seeking a Floor Technician to be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of all floor surfaces including hard surfaces and carpeted areas. As a member of the Environmental Services Department you will be instrumental to timely service, product quality safety and sanitation standards are met. Shift Details:
Full time Position
Shift Times - 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
Work Week – Monday to Friday
Rotating Weekends (every other weekend)
The Work:
Responsible for cleaning, spot removal, buffing, and burnishing floor surfaces
Other tasks include but are not limited to cleaning and disinfecting public and patient rooms, bathrooms, floors, and offices removing trash, wiping surfaces and other tasks related to cleaning
Fills in for staff when needed
Handles customer complaints
Follows policies, procedures and safety practices applicable to chemicals and equipment
Conducts interactions in a professional manner
Safe operation of mechanical floor equipment is required.
May be required to move equipment and furnishings in the process of performing tasks.
