In this role you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of various flooring types in commercial and residential settings. This role requires a strong understanding of floor care techniques, including carpet cleaning, buffing, and custodial services. The Floor Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for our residents, guests, and staff.

Job DescriptionPerform routine floor care tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness.Conduct carpet cleaning using appropriate equipment and techniques to ensure high standards of hygiene.Execute buffing and polishing of hard surface floors to enhance their appearance and longevity.Provide environmental services by ensuring all areas are clean, sanitized, and free from hazards.Collaborate with the custodial team to maintain overall cleanliness in commercial spaces.Respond promptly to cleaning requests or emergencies as needed.Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are in good working condition.Follow safety protocols and guidelines while performing all cleaning tasks.Other duties as assigned.

QualificationsAt least one year of experience. Proven experience in floor care.Knowledge of various floor types and appropriate cleaning methods.Familiarity with carpet cleaning techniques and equipment.Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes.Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting and moving heavy objects.
