Flooring Installer

We are seeking a skilled Flooring, Carpet, and Tile Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and installation, with hands-on experience using various hand tools and techniques, including LVT, laminate, hardwood, carpet, and tile, as well as grouting and caulking. This role also includes handyman services and make-ready solutions to provide flexible and comprehensive service to our clients.
**Responsibilities**
• Install carpet, tile, hardwood, laminate, and LVT with precision, ensuring proper measurements, alignment, and finishing.
• Utilize hand tools effectively for various installation tasks, including caulking.
• Conduct construction site inspections to assess project requirements and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Collaborate with the construction management team to plan and execute installation projects efficiently.
• Restore and maintain existing installations as needed, providing exceptional service to clients.
• Assist with additional handyman tasks, including painting and minor repairs, and miscellaneous installations as part of make-ready services.
• Provide input on construction estimating for upcoming projects based on site assessments.
**Requirements**
• Preferred to have SDT (Static Dissipative Tile) certification to install this material.
• Proven experience in flooring and carpet installation, including LVT, laminate, hardwood, and tile.
• Ability to perform handyman services and make-ready finishing work.
• Proficiency with hand tools and equipment used in construction and installation tasks.
• Knowledge of construction management principles is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Familiarity with construction inspection processes is a plus.
• Ability to adhere to safety protocols on the construction site at all times.

Construction work requires strenuous physical activity. The essential functions of this job include, but are not limited to, walking on uneven surfaces, climbing several flights of stairs or ladders uninterrupted, working at extensive heights, lifting 50 pounds, repetitive lifting, working a minimum of 40 hours per week, working outdoors as required, seeing with clarity (naturally or with correction), having accurate depth perception and acceptable peripheral vision, and hearing sufficiently (naturally or with correction) to respond to verbal instruction, warning bells, and alarms.
