Available Internship Opportunities

Accounts Payable

Check, sort, code and match invoices

Process non-PO invoices in accordance with the Delegation of Authority

Monitor and reconcile vendor statements to ensure payments are up to date

Ensure data accuracy

Perform other ad-hoc tasks defined by the direct leader or above

Review payment runs to ensure data accuracy

Cash&Bank

Propose and execute regular payment runs, monthly payments and ad hoc urgent requests based on needs. Follow up on technical payment success.

ERPs and bank handling

Assure approvals per Flowserve Delegation of Authority and segregation of duties policies are followed before payment.

Monitor and reconcile both proposed and final payment batches by verifying entries and comparing system information to expected outcomes as described in legacy site or if applicable, the S/4 Hana standard payment process

Ensure data accuracy

Perform other ad-hoc tasks defined by the direct leader or above

Handle basic queries through email or phone (both external and internal customers)

Review payment runs to ensure data accuracy

General Ledger Accounting

Actively participating in assigned accounting and month-end closing processes

Perform month-end closings, Balance Sheet account reconciliations, and prepare SOX controls

Support internal and external audits

Master Data Administrator

Assist the team in the daily tasks, projects

Inputting master data information such as supplier address, name, contacts, banking information into several different ERP systems

Assist the team in the daily tasks, projects

Maintain transparent and accurate standards to ensure data accuracy

Handle basic queries through email or phone

Identify issues and escalate if needed

Participate in meetings as required in the role

Support internal and external audits

Create and maintain process documentation

Work closely with other department

Accounts Receivable

a. Cash Collector

Contact customers primarily by email regarding the status of open invoices

Maintain transparent, accurate, and standard collection notes;

Identify and open dispute cases and bring them to the attention of your supervisors in accordance with department guidelines.

Review sales orders that are put on hold (at a later stage of the internship)

b. Cash Application

Apply cash to the correct customer account in time accurately

Investigate & follow up on “unidentified” and “unapplied” items

Working closely together with the Credit & Collections Team

Timely escalate cash application issues to a Cash Application Senior or Supervisor

Report daily collected cash

Apply cash according to the intercompany netting statement

Prepare reports for month-end close and assist to General Accounting Team

Maintain documentation as per internal controls & SOX audit requirements

Engineer Intern

Main valve and actuator brands the successful candidate will be working on, are the followings: Valtek, Kämmer, Valbart, Argus, Limitorque, Durco, Atomac and Worcester.

Develop a keen understanding of the Flowserve valve and valve automation product lines and their respective operations to enhance application engineering, quotation generation, project management and sales support efforts.

Assist in the preparation of technically sound and cost-effective quotations in order to contribute to obtaining related sales and bookings growth.

Prepare detailed, complete and correct purchase orders for proper entry into our respective manufacturing operations.

Communicate effectively with other team members in Commercial Operations to maximize the knowledge transfer within the team.

Maintain frequently product, customer and quotation database.

Usage of Flowserve softwares like CPQ, Perf!Nxt, FlowFore

Required Qualifications:

Current Bachelor or Master student with a valid student card or student certificate in Engineering, Human Resources, Finance, Accounting or other Business related subject
