FLS Production Engineering Manager 1 – Mechatronics & Test Competency (2nd Shift)
Introduction to the job

ASML is the world’s leading provider of lithography systems for the semiconductor industry, manufacturing complex machines that are critical to the production of integrated circuits or microchips. This position is for a First Line Support Production Engineering Manager 1 with innovative attitude to work in the Production Engineering department in Wilton Factory. Candidate will manage a group of FLS Production Engineers with multiple technical skills in Mechatronics and Mechanical Competencies.

Role and responsibilitiesResponsible for people management and career development activities including recruiting, onboarding, training, mentoring, coaching, targets setting and performance evaluationResponsible for managing a group of 12 to 15 FLS Production Engineers on 3rd shiftDevelop and maintain department Target Annual Plan (TAP)Responsible for leading First Line Support Production Engineering group investigating technical issues both analytically using design documentation and physically with hands-on in a production environmentResponsible for leading First Line Support Production Engineering to disposition DNs/MNs within department targetsResponsible for leading First Line Support Production Engineering group supporting and maintaining module manufacturing processesResponsible for department KPIs development and maintenanceResponsible for leading First Line Support Production Engineering to support cross-sector team of engineers to converge on an overall design solution that addresses comprehensive production manufacturability with high level of diagnostics for troubleshooting.Represent and support First Line Support Production Engineering teams in progress reviews and cross-sector meetingsResponsible for leading First Line Support Production Engineering group supporting operations to deliver modules on time that meet high standards of qualityReport production status, issues, gaps and barriers to Sr. Management. Timely escalate in case of issue that can’t be solved within the own circle of influenceDrive internal DN/MN KPIs development and maintenanceSupport production Tier meetings especially towards structural solutionsSupport cross-sector teams to achieve high standards of quality for both product and toolingThe employee is required to work in a cleanroom environment:full gowning (full body coveralls, hood, CR safety shoes, face mask, nitrile gloves and safety glasses. Working under ISO 9000/14000 standards).Working around overhead cranes, fork trucks and motorized pallet movers.Working around lasers; working with ladders; working on platforms; and working around chemicals. 

Education and experience

Education

Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Master of Science or MBA is Preferred)

Experience

5+ years’ experience in leadership and management environment with Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or 3+ years’ experience in leadership and management environment with Master of Science degree in Engineering Experience in developing Manufacturing readiness plans to introduce new products into Production.Experience in leading cross-sector teams to implement Manufacturing readiness plans for new product industrializationExperience in developing budgetary needs for facilities, capital equipment and headcount.Experience in managing new product introduction and industrializationBackground in Mechatronics Engineering is requiredBackground in test equipment/interface to data acquisition is preferred.
