Fluid Power Specialist

Summary:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and skilled Fluid and Power Specialist to join our Power Take Off (PTO) Sales Department. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of PTO systems and experience in hydraulic and pneumatic systems. This role requires a proactive, hands-on professional who can diagnose, Spec, and ensure the reliable operation of PTO systems.

 

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Inspect, diagnose PTO systems, including hydraulic and pneumatic components.Quoting and sales of fluid power systems.Provide technical support and training for support staff and customers.Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards related to PTO and fluid power systems.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in fluid power systems, with specific expertise in PTO systems.Strong understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong communication and customer service skills.

Working Conditions:

The job is performed under extreme temperature variations and some hazardous conditions.The role typically operates in a workshop environment that may involve exposure to noise, dust, and fumes. Safety gear and training are provided to ensure employee safety.

 

Physical Requirements:

 

Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; some climbing and balancing on ladders and platforms of heights above 42”, significant stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling throughout an 8–12-hour day, and up to 60 hours per week. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs at times.
