**A Snapshot of Your Day**
The successful applicant for this position will work in an international and inter-disciplinary team setting and will design, specify, and implement auxiliary systems. You will coordinate with multiple support groups to implement your solutions for fuel gas supply systems, including customers, vendors, supply chain management and other engineering teams. You will support along every step of the product’s lifecycle, from concept and testing to mature cost out activities, and support project bids for specific project implementation. You will help guide the organization to a greener landscape as we integrate new technologies like Hydrogen solutions to power generation. You will develop and implement your technical solutions to system design challenges, ensuring high customer satisfaction, low cost and pave the way for a successful project implementation.
**How you’ll make an impact**
+ Design and develop the Auxiliaries systems that support operations on all Siemens Gas Turbine frames
+ Implement Research and Development (R&D) activities for GT Auxiliaries systems, focusing on fuel gas and emergence of new clean energy-based concepts (Hydrogen) for both 50Hz and 60Hz markets.
+ Drive the definition of auxiliaries on a system level, responsible for component evaluation and selection, hardware function requirements, and operation modes of the GT engines.
+ Communicate with suppliers on development of valves, instrumentation and other components to meet the new demands of a clean energy focus market.
+ Collaborate in a team environment with a consideration for project schedules and budgets.
**What you Bring**
+ Bachelor’s degree and above in Mechanical Engineering
+ 3-5 years Experience or equivalent in Fluid Systems designs in Gas Turbine, Architectural Engineering, Aerospace, or Automotive Industries
+ Capability to handle cross-functional and cross-product line initiatives, domestically and internationally
+ Ability to work as part of a larger global engineering team in a collaborative manner
+ Proficient in MS Office, Simulation software, PLM Software.

**About the Team**
You will be working alongside a focused team responsible for the reference development on fluids-based auxiliary systems that support gas turbine operation, including Fuel Gas, Fuel Oil, Emissions Control, Lube Oil, Hydraulic and Pneumatic controls, Turbine Cooling, Compressor Bleed, Steam Power Augmentation and Purge and Seal Air. The team operates globally at locations including US, Europe, and Asia.
