Position Number: 010041 Department: Facilities Management (Adm) Employment Type: Permanent - Full-time Months Per Year: 12 Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The FM Tech Mechanical Trades (Plumbing) performs under the direction of the Plumbing Shop Supervisor. + Responsible for performing routine maintenance on plumbing systems to ensure efficient operation of building systems. + Assist in diagnosing mechanical problems and determining corrective actions by consulting blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs as needed. + Utilize a range of tools, including common hand and power tools. Minimum Experience / Education: Required Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from high school or equivalent. Experience in the trade(s) areas related to the position’s role may be substituted on a year-for-year basis. University Preferred Qualifications: Graduation from high school or equivalent. Experience in the trade(s) areas related to the position’s role may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.
