About the role: The FMEA Moderator is responsible for leading and facilitating the Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) process. This position involves guiding cross-functional teams through structured brainstorming sessions to identify failure modes, assess their potential impact, and determine corrective actions. The FMEA Moderator ensures effective communication among all team members, maintains accurate documentation, and ensures that the FMEA process contributes to improving product or process reliability and safety.
We are looking for candidates with the following job qualifications:
Key Responsibilities:
+ Facilitate FMEA Sessions:
+ Lead FMEA workshops and meetings, ensuring the process is structured, comprehensive, and efficient.
+ Coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring the correct subject matter experts are involved in discussions.
+ Guide team members through identifying potential failure modes and their effects on system performance or safety.
+ Identify and Prioritize Risks:
+ Lead the team in identifying failure modes, assessing their severity, occurrence, and detectability.
+ Use risk priority numbers (RPN) to prioritize failure modes and determine the need for corrective actions.
+ Ensure that critical failure modes are addressed and mitigation strategies are implemented.
+ Document Findings:
+ Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of FMEA sessions, including risk assessments, recommendations, and mitigation strategies.
+ Ensure that FMEA worksheets are updated and accurately reflect the team’s assessments and decisions.
+ Collaborate and Communicate:
+ Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and other relevant teams to ensure alignment in FMEA findings.
+ Communicate the outcomes of FMEA sessions to key stakeholders, ensuring clarity and understanding of the risks and mitigation plans.
+ Continuous Improvement:
+ Monitor the effectiveness of corrective actions implemented based on FMEA findings.
+ Ensure that FMEA is updated regularly to reflect changes in product designs, processes, or systems.
+ Training and Support:
+ Provide training and guidance on FMEA methodology to team members as needed.
+ Support teams in identifying areas for improvement in the FMEA process and propose enhancements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
+ Professional level of English (spoken and written).
+ MS Office knowledge
+ Communication, leadership, and organizational skills
+ Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
+ Analytical thinking and understanding of complex (manufacturing, logistics) processes
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience in FMEA methodology
+ Experience in reporting and administration
+ Experience in small group leadership
+ Experience with APIS IQ software
Work Environment:
+ Office-based, with occasional site visits to warehouse and manufacturing facilities.
