The Position

FMI Business Development Partner (Fixed-term)

The opportunity: 

As a key contributor to the commercial and business development team, your main focus will be driving market expansion and adoption of FMI (Foundation Medicine) solutions through strategic planning, customer engagement, and collaboration with cross-functional teams, including sales, medical, and market access, while leveraging data insights to uncover new business opportunities in the oncology/sequencing market.

You will evaluate market potential, segment prospects, and identifie high-potential accounts to focus business efforts.

Prepare and conduct customer visits, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define unique selling points and key messages.

Create business plans, identifie, develop, and close new business opportunities, and manage offer preparation for customers.

Raise the profile of FMI services and creates demand through targeted communication with healthcare professionals and stakeholders.

Utilize market insights and customer data to inform business strategies and drive growth in the sequencing portfolio.

 

Please note: this is a fixed-term position through the end of 2027.

Who you are:

Proven successful experience in marketing, sales, or consulting for a minimum of 3 years within the healthcare, diagnostics, or pharmaceutical industry.

Strong understanding of the business environment, economics, and financials within the healthcare sector, with preferable market knowledge in sequencing technologies and oncology.

Advanced project management skills and VACC leadership capabilities for managing cross-functional teams (e.g., medical, marketing, finance) and various hierarchy levels.

Fluent in English and Bulgarian, with advanced sales excellence skills, including Miller Heiman methodologies, Salesforce/REXIS, presentation skills, and storytelling.

Goal-oriented, entrepreneurial mindset with assertiveness and resilience; able to deal with uncertainty and maintain focus.

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, acting as a consultant rather than a salesperson, with strong influencing and negotiation skills at any hierarchy level.

Analytical skills and a holistic view, able to manage complexity and translate it into simple concepts that connect Roche’s strategy with customer needs and market evolution.

Agile mindset: customer-centric, embracing change, resilient, collaborative, and open to feedback.

Develop and implement strategic account plans in alignment with broader organizational goals, ensuring collaboration across teams.

Dedicate time to visit healthcare professionals, presenting commercial proposals, and providing expert technical advice for FMI solution implementation.
