As a finance consulting generalist at PwC, you will possess a broad understanding of various aspects of finance consulting. You will be responsible for analysing client needs, developing financial solutions, and offering recommendations tailored to specific business requirements.

Solutions team supports many of the firm’s leading clients in various elements of client finance functions, including Financial Control (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger), Financial Planning
& Analysis, Taxation and Treasury. We are a team of finance professionals who deliver bespoke and standard finance solutions to our clients on an insourced, outsourced or co-sourced basis
The successful candidate will work within the Finance & Tax Solutions team, an operational team made up of Finance professionals working for a wide range of clients. Our Finance Managed Services (FMS) Associates are a key part of delivering our FMS engagements for our clients. The role involves the posting and processing aspects of our client work. As you progress you will develop your knowledge and understanding of bookkeeping, accounts preparation and accounting systems and work with a variety of clients and industries.

Key responsibilities include:


● Processing purchase orders
● Processing supplier and customer invoices
● Managing client AP/AR queries
● Preparation of payments
● Bank reconciliations
● Ad Hoc processing support
● Adhering to closing timelines, accounting policies and controls.
● Work collaboratively to drive ideas/solutions with peers and managers which will improve Client
and PwC’s efficiency.
● Developing close relationships with key stakeholders
● Managing your own workload, including reporting on progress and issues
● Developing the ability to be agile and support a range of client/projects
● Be able to implement and adapt to new or changing processes quickly.
● Proactively build relationships with all team members within PwC including engagement with

Requirements


● Accounting /Finance Degree or working towards professional accounting qualification
● Self-motivated and independent.
● Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines; demonstrates basic analytical skills;
Demonstrates commercial awareness in daily service provision within own area of responsibility.

● Good communication skills (English) written and spoken.
● Good knowledge of the MS Office Suite
● Self-starter with a proactive approach and ability to work without supervision
● Attention to detail and high-quality standards of processes and control environment

Desirable


● Relevant experience in Financial Accounting and Reporting including various elements of a client’s finance function.

Where will you be based?


The role will be based in <location>, however as a result of the wide variety of clients and projects, you
may be asked to work in other locations, sometimes at short notice and sometimes over lengthy periods of time. Your desire and ability to do this will be discussed as part of the recruitment process. Candidates who are unable or do not wish to work on projects in other locations will still be considered.
