We are currently seeking an experienced Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Logistician in support of the Program Executive Office Ground Combat Systems (PEO GCS).This position will represent Foreign Military Sales on the following IPTs: Obsolescence, Field Problem Review Board, Abrams Over Arching IPT, FMS staff call the FMS Sustainment Branch Fair Share representative. The position will work within an integrated team and support the development of integrated logistics support plans which address all the principal elements of total life-cycle planning for assigned FMS customers and programs, including maintenance plans, training and training devices, support equipment, supply support, obsolescence, technical data, packaging, handling and storage, transportation, and transportability. ResponsibilitiesMonitor program execution to assure accomplishment of objectives and goals in accordance with milestones. Coordinate with technical specialists to develop corrective actions. Recommend approach to resolve procedural problems. Assure that corrective actions are implemented. Participate in FMS related special studies and projects to resolve critical supply, maintenance, or system sustainment problems requiring Command attention. Analyze and evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of the supply system with respect to both logistic and operational readiness.  Support the integrated logistics processes by developing support policies, procedures, and systems, while providing inputs to implementation. Prepare reports on logistics performance measures and confer with logistics management teams to determine ways to optimize service levels, maintain supply-chain efficiency, or minimize cost. Analyze lifecycle cost estimates across all Integrated Product Support elements Monitor cost and performance across the product support value chain, from design through disposal. Maintain configuration control of all Program and Product Support documentation Identify and execute the logistics support requirements to be included in system level and sub-tier specifications. Review program related documents submitted by any vendors for compliance and completeness with logistics statutes, policies and standards. Perform supply support analysis to include provisioning, depot level maintenance, Technical Publications reviews, logistics support analyses. Perform level of repair analyses, source of repair and core logistics capability analyses Provide logistics input to Engineering Change Proposals, identifying program impacts. Assist with Technical Manual development and revisions. Perform Facilities and Infrastructure Impact analyses. Provide material fielding support, both CONUS and OCONUS. QualificationsSecret Security Clearance A bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply management, business management or fifteen (15) years of logistics experience in the DoD supply network Minimum 10+ years of acquisition logistics support and in-depth experience with US Army major weapon systems.  Familiar with documentation requirements, product support elements, and requirements for the development, procurement, and sustainment of the US Army major weapon systems being sold to FMS customers.  An understanding of the Army Force Structure, common terms, and terminology is preferred.  Additional Information
