Position Summary:
Lead and support the daily operations of the FNOL Unit. Responsible for training and coaching assigned staff, answering questions, solving problems as well as assuring quality and service levels are met.
Position Responsibilities:
Responsible for the supervision up to 15 FNOL representatives.Regular meetings with FNOL representatives to provide guidance and development.Monitors team performance through file and call audits daily in accordance with company policy to ensure work meets department standards.Prepares and conducts performance assessments, coordinates discipline and oversees employee development as requiredHandles escalated service calls to ensure high-quality customer service resultsWorking with workforce management, assures schedule adherence goals are met. Plans for future staffing needs as claim volume grows. Recommend hiring, promotions, salary adjustments, and termination of assigned staff.Works with Quality Assurance Team to measure and ensure that quality customer service is always provided.Prepare weekly plans of team KPI performance to maintain established turnaround times and to comply with departmental objectives.Keeps abreast of current Company policy, claims developments and procedural changes and informs subordinates as necessary.Drives change initiatives to address future-oriented business needsDelivers the Best in Class Customer Service experience to all internal, external, current and prospective Kemper customersPosition Qualifications:
2-4 year college degree is preferred, but not required.Previous experience as an Adjuster, Supervisor or Team Manager is desirable.Minimum 1-year supervisory experience required.At least 2 years personal auto experience preferred.Experience in non-standard auto a plus.Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and organizational skills with a team-oriented approach are necessary.Basic computer skills in Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook are essential.Must be working towards or maintaining a Property & Casualty License.This is an onsite position reporting into our Henderson, NV office.The range for this position is $46,400 to $77,300. When determining candidate offers, we consider experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location among other factors.
