About the Role
: Responsible for the daily operating of the foam line and the facilitating, directing, and supporting all support groups in the production of a quality product that “exceeds our customers’ expectations”.
Your Responsibilities• Responsible for employee safety related to Foam Plant and processes.
• Responsible for quality control and reducing scrap from process and tooling causes.
• Directs process engineers and tooling technicians.
• Works with other departments towards overall plant goals.
• Implements standardized work for process and tooling team members.
• Ensures compliance with quality, environmental, and material management system requirements.

Your preferred qualificationsUndergraduate degree in Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and related work experience. A minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive plant manufacturing. A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience. A high level of proven analytical ability is required to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, develop solutions, and lead their implementation. Must have a strong understanding of manufacturing and equipment principles. Demonstrated successful performance with independent and team problem solving, presentations, leadership, and coordinating and completing multiple tasks within and across departments to meet changing deadlines. Must be proficient with computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, project management, etc.
