Job Description

We are excited to announce that we are hiring part-time and casual Food and Beverage Attendants for our brand-new restaurant, Chakraya, set to open soon at the prestigious Oaks Cypress Lakes Retreat. Chakraya promises to be a culinary gem, offering a vibrant menu brimming with authentic Sri Lankan flavors.

We are looking for passionate, motivated individuals who are eager to be part of this exciting new venture. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to creating memorable dining moments for our guests. Your responsibilities will include:

Taking Guest Orders: Accurately and attentively recording orders to accommodate guest preferences.Menu Expertise and Recommendations: Displaying comprehensive knowledge of our menu and confidently suggesting food and beverage options to enhance the dining experience.Serving Food and Beverages: Providing efficient and professional service while ensuring guest satisfaction.Delivering Exceptional Customer Service: Engaging warmly with guests, promptly addressing their needs, and striving to exceed their expectations.

Part Time Hourly Rates (excluding super):

Monday - Friday: $24.98 per hour

Saturday: $31.23 per hour 

Sunday: $38.70 per hour

Casual Hourly Rates (excluding super):

Monday - Friday: $31.23 per hour

Saturday: $37.47 per hour 

Sunday: $43.72 per hour

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate:

Previous experience in a waitstaff or bar role.A warm and approachable demeanor with a positive attitude.Proven experience delivering high-quality customer service.A current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification.Professional presentation and exceptional communication skills.Reliability, with the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.Flexibility to work across a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
