Food and Beverage Department Trainer

WHAT WE PROVIDE:

This is a year-round Leadership position at Six Flags Fiesta Texas, in San Antonio, TX. WHAT YOU WILL DO:Promotes Guest First Standards, Total Safety Culture and Park / Departmental policies and procedures, as well as motivates and maintains employees.  .Provides reporting to management to help maintain division certifications (and are kept up to date)Helps co-ordinate and organize International Program (when park participates)Completes random audits to ensure TABC and all other policies/procedures are being followedConducts initial Food Service Orientation (Primarily Virtual but In Person as well)Coordinates the transition into the On The Job TrainingTracks and Follows up with On The Job Training, to ensure complianceUnderstands and completes all required paperworkEnsures proper paperwork for all team members are maintained throughout the seasonCo-ordinates and tracks Food and Beverage Online training Program to include TABC,  Leadership Sanitation, and Food Handler TrainingAcquires and maintains TABC certification, Sanitation certificationCompletes pay changes, transfers, terms and team member updates in the HR systemCo-ordinates the “Spotlight” program that highlights Guest and TM complimentsRegulates the organization of the team with departmental organizational tracking

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:Requires excellent organizational, communication, and problem solving skills.Ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects and meet critical deadlines in a demanding, fast paced environmentAbility to work a flexible schedule that including nights, holidays and weekends.Must be detail oriented, highly motivated and a self starterHigh School Diploma or equivalentBe at least 18 years of ageStrong working knowledge of Microsoft applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPointMust be able to acquire and maintain TDH Sanitation and TABC certificationsPrevious experience in Food and Beverage Or Merchandise a PlusA strong sense of teamwork and a positive attitudeWillingness to cross train into other departments and work in such departments as needed during short staffing periods
