As a Food and Beverage Director, you will be responsible for providing incredible guest service and member experiences through providing support and direction to all front-of-house and back-of-house food and beverage employees and implement all company and facility F&B initiatives at the Club. This includes business planning, menu design, inventory management, service standards training, operational audits, and the creative and conceptual development of new F&B experiences.
Ideal candidates have flexible schedules with availability to work weekends and holidays. This includes competitive compensation starting at $90,000 - $100,000 with bonus potential.

Job Summary: The Director of Food & Beverage is an executive level position overseeing all dining outlets, events, and services at Cobblestone Creek Country Club. The individual collaborates daily with department leaders to ensure service standards are achieved and that quality is to the Club’s standards. The individual demonstrates appropriate analytical skills, attention to detail, organizational and project management skills. They are a creative driver for innovation and are passionate about club management with the prospect for continuous advancement within the organization.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Leadership, Development & Training:
Develops and manages standard operating procedures for all food and beverage departments. Writes and monitors the budget and directs corrective action procedures as necessary to help assure that budget goals are attained. Functions as an administrative link between departments within Food and Beverage. Oversees recruitment, training, and professional development programs for all Food and Beverage personnel. Assists the General Manager/COO in developing and implementing long-range (strategic) and annual (business) plans, operating reports, forecasts and budgets. Serves as an ad hoc member of appropriate Club committees. Develops an annual capital budget for all necessary food and beverage equipment and supply needs. Responsible for proper cash and charge procedures, member check analysis, tip reports, tip controls and daily sales reports and analysis. Oversees progressive discipline of all Food and Beverage personnel.Food & Beverage Services
Maintains professional relationships with the membership of Cobblestone Creek CC to achieve personalized service. Ensures member satisfaction scores through member surveys are maintained within guidelines. Conducts daily facility inspections and is present on the floor during meal periods and at large banquets and Club functions. Completes periodic china, glass, and silverware inventories. Assures that all laws applicable to the Food and Beverage operations are consistently followed. Ensure all POS systems are programed correctly and operating effectively Works in conjunction with the GM/COO to determine root cause and develop action plans to correct service breakdowns. Works with Food & Beverage leadership on menu updates and new menu rollouts. Works with F&B Managers on scheduling associates to maintain the service standards while operating within budgeted labor guidelines. Actively adjusts schedules according to forecasted business levels. Performs administrative duties including daily logs, inventory spreadsheets, supply requisitions, payroll, and associate reviews. Oversees the planning and execution of Club events throughout the year including Golf Tournaments, Holiday Parties, Wine Dinners, etc. Handles complaints in a professional manner from Club members, guests, and others relative to the Food & Beverage Department. Ensures all Food and Beverage outlets maintain a standard of cleanliness and organization. Develops and maintains a bar product and supplies inventory system for beverages. Monitors Beverage purchasing and cost controls. Develop wine lists, craft cocktails and liquor offerings. Keeps current with changing member preferences and industry trends. Serves as the Club’s Manger-on-Duty in the absence of the General Manager/COO. Other duties may be required as directed by the GM/COO.Marketing & Communication
Actively develops processes and marketing strategies to increase revenue. In tandem with the Communications Coordinator, is ultimately responsible for all content and timeliness of all Food and Beverage communications to the membership.Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university preferred 3-5 years high-volume restaurant management experience with proven track record of increased sales and service excellence Knowledge of pertinent health regulations and liquor laws Member of Club Managers Association of America (CMAA) and other professional associations. Attends conferences, workshops, and meetings (e.g., CMAA’s World Conference and Club Business Expo and CMAA chapter meetings) to keep abreast of current information and developments in the field to enhance his or her value and quality of services to the members. Ten or more years of related experience with five or more years as a senior manager, preferred. Substantial private club or hospitality industry experience with senior management experience and progressive professional advancement. Experience working with volunteer committees.Working Conditions
