Our hotel is on the intracoastal waterway, less than a five-minute walk from Galleria Fort Lauderdale. The beach is a half mile east and it's a five-mile drive to conventions and cruises at Port Everglades. We have 231 rooms, our VUE PATIO BAR & GRILL, which is outdoor; poolside and if it rains, we have our GALLERY lounge, which is open from 5:00pm-11:00pm nightly. Join us at VUE on the water, for a contemporary cuisine from the hours of 6:30am-10:00pm.

The ideal candidate holds at least 2+ years working in a supervisory role in Food and Beverage. Experience in Banquets preferred.  Proven Ability to lead a team. Candidate should be able to work varying shifts.

Shift Pattern: Full Availability and Flexibility for all shifts (AM/MID/PM) (Weekdays, weekends, holidays as needed)

What will I be doing?

\n\nDirects and organizes the activities of the Food & Beverage departments to maintain the high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits through outstanding customer service. \nPlans and directs the functions of administration and planning of the Food & Beverage department to meet the daily needs of the operation.\nImplements effective controls of food, beverage and labor costs. \nEnsures compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards. \nHelps ensure high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits and ensure outstanding customer service.\nInterviews, trains, supervises, counsels, schedules and evaluates staff.\n
