Food and Beverage Procurement Executive for Spain

The position of Food and Beverage Procurement Executive for Spain will play a pivotal role in ensuring the corporation maintains a competitive edge across the category. The Procurement Executive Food & Beverage will be a proactive self-starter, responsible for designing, developing, and executing category strategies, negotiation plans, sourcing events, and distribution arrangements. Building positive relationships with suppliers and fostering strategic partnerships to drive growth in HSM spend and revenue will be key aspects of the role.

In order to successfully fulfill this role, the F&B Procurement Executive will:

\n\nLead Purchasing and Supply Management functions for F&B for 40+ hotels in Spain.\nEnsure procurement of products and services of established quality at the lowest total cost, in alignment with Hilton standards, operational needs, and purchasing best practices.\nLead supplier RFPs, tenders, and negotiations to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms for the corporation.\nReview costs across categories to identify opportunities for savings and efficiency improvements.\nWork with, and represent, the Purchasing function with key stakeholders such as Chefs and GMs.\nOffer functional and operational management to any corporate or hotel purchasing team.\nEnsure the implementation and optimal utilization of procurement tools such as BirchStreet and Coupa Smart Spend. Provide system support and training to internal and external stakeholders as required to maximize productivity.\nPerform data analysis from various reports to identify cost-saving opportunities, using tools like Excel, Tableau, and Power Query\n

What does success look like for this role:
The Procurement Executive Food & Beverage must possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that they can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation:

\n\nExtensive experience in procurement and supply chain management across a significant multi-site or corporate estate, ideally in a hospitality environment.\nStrong knowledge of the Spain market, including key suppliers and major players in the food and beverage industry for hospitality.\nA minimum of 5 years of experience in hospitality purchasing for various hotels is required.\nAbility to read, write, and speak English and Spanish fluently.\nDemonstrated ability to lead supplier RFPs and tenders, negotiate contracts, and build strategic supplier relationships.\nConsiderable mathematical skills.\nStrong administrative and analytical skills.\nProficiency in Excel and the ability to analyze data to find trends and opportunities for optimization.\nStrong negotiation and communication skills.\nAbility to work under own initiative and in a hands-on capacity.\nAbility to visually evaluate specifications.\n\n
