Come build your career with us! **Job Summary and Qualifications** Manager will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the day-to-day activities of the department to ensure that implementation of standards for quality food services as they apply to patients, staff and community. + You will design, establish, implement and coordinate activities of food procurement, production and service related to nutrition services and staffing limitations. + You will develop and monitor systems to ensure employee compliance with safety sanitation, infection control and quality in food service. + You will organize and facilitate employee activities including hiring, training, counseling, evaluating and in-servicing employees. + You will participate on various committees and endeavors to meet the goals and objectives of the hospital. + You will produce weekly catering calendars and distributes. + You will staff accordingly to accommodate needs of department. **What qualifications you will need:** + High School Graduate / GED Completion of a special one-year course or associate degree which includes such subjects as sanitation, hygiene, quantity food preparation, supervisory techniques and managing kitchen and storeroom. + Must have a current Food Manager's card from the city/county health department (ServSafe Food Protection Manager, or Food Handlers Permit must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date) + Minimum of 1 year of food service management required. + Previous experience in a hospital facility. + Previous experience in hiring, training, scheduling, motivating, and counseling support staff preferred.
