Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Food Application Technologist for the team of meat, dairy and food protection professionals. You will provide technical service and solutions to our customers in Europe and other parts of the world. You will work with well-known starter cultures and a wide range of products for meat, dairy and food protection in meat and dairy products.

In addition to participating in innovation projects, the application team also supports the sales of new and existing ingredients in the food industry. You will be located at the IFF Campus Brabrand with over 300 people dedicated to Application, R&D, and technical customer service. The Campus has modern and well-equipped pilot plant facilities, supporting customers across the entire food industry.

Main responsibilities:

Your main area of responsibility will be within meat applications, but you are willing to support the team of dairy and food protection when neededYou will organize raw materials, ingredients and accessories like casings, packaging materials etc. to ensure correct productionYou will plan, conduct and document trials independently in our pilot plants.Perform and evaluate various measurements such as pH, aw, weight, texture, color, microbiological analysis etc.Daily maintenance of equipment and ensuring compliance with all hygienic standards as well as Departmental InstructionsProficient in Windows-based programs, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Profile requirements:

Degree in Food, Meat or Dairy technology or other related qualificationStrong practically applicable knowledge of meat or dairy technology

Hands-on experience in the food industry in general is considered as an advantage

Personal attributes:

Result-oriented with a high level of personal driveAbility to work independently while being a dedicated team player in global teamsUnderstanding of client needsProficiency in Danish and English, both spoken and written
