Located adjacent to Darling Harbour in Sydney's Central Business District (CBD), Hyatt Regency Sydney is a haven of relaxation for the business or leisure traveler. The Role:

If you are an experienced Administrator or Executive Assistant - preferably with previous experience in Food Beverage - with great passion to deliver high level of customer service and strong organizational skills, this could be your perfect next role. You will have the ability to work within a fast-paced environment and manage stakeholder expectations at various levels.

Joining the largest Premium hotel in Sydney and reporting directly to the Director of Food Beverage, this role offers you the opportunity to develop your Admin Skills through providing support to the Food Beverage team. This role will engage and coordinate with the teams from our 6 different outlets.

Main Duties:

Provide administrative support to Director of Food Beverage and the Food Beverage teamManage the Food and Beverage outlet emails and ensure all written correspondence is in line with Hyatt Hotels Corporation standards.Digitally interact with guests, identify group enquiries for venues and direct these to Venue Sales representatives.Assist with handling guest complaints efficiently, while bringing all complaints to the attention of the Food and Beverage Management teamAssisting with the planning, development, implementation of special events in the outlets including but not limited to – Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Melbourne Cup Day, Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve.Work closely with the Outlet Managers to produce various industry and guest wine and promotional dinners throughout the year.Responsible for creation of PM accounts and manage charges for all group bookings. Also responsible for working with venue managers to ensure settlement of accounts following all outlet events.Telemarket past, current and future clients that have the potential to drive and generate business for food and beverageMaintain and update calendars and appointment logs for the FB management teamMaintain adequate stocks of all stationary for the office and paper for the outlets

Our ideal candidate will:

Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar roleKnowledge of FB Operation is preferredExperience using Microsoft office is preferredStrong verbal and written communication skillsValid NSW RSA is essentialFull Australian work rights is essential
