What will you do in this job? Assist in leading the hotel F&B (FOH) program including indoor/outdoor dining & bar, coffee experience, and eventsHandle guest concerns in a professional manner and take fast and appropriate action to solve problemsFollow federal, state and Company policies and regulations for serving alcoholic beverages in a responsible mannerComplete nightly reports and review daily food and beverage salesWork collaboratively with the Executive Chef & F&B ManagerMay be responsible for ordering, receipt and storage of all alcohol and other restaurant & bar inventories & equipmentEnsure F&B controls are met by maintaining effective cost and portion control; discount programs are being enforcedKeep up with F&B trends and our competitive set in Montana – make recommendations & changes as necessaryAlways have the guest and staff experience in mindFacilitate a positive environment and yes cultureUphold service & presentation standards & expectationsCollects currency and keeps an accurate account for control. What skills and experience do you need for this job? Must be 18 years of age or older1+ years restaurant, café, bar supervisory experience preferredRestaurant/Hospitality Management degree preferredFamiliarity with hospitality POS systems expectedHospitality POS experience desirableKnowledge in kitchen operations, cooking and timing, as well as food, liquor and labor cost controls helpfulDemonstrate leadership skills - able to motivate others Effective communication and interpersonal skillsMust be pleasant, helpful, friendly, outgoing, enthusiastic and courteous in dealing with guests and co-workersA desire to learn and grow in the F&B world is a must!Work-ethic and commitment to the team and guest is keyBe committed to Safety First and the highest quality of cleaning & sanitizing standardsBe organized with a great eye for detailBe kind to others and always bring your bestBe a good communicator, always suggesting ideas and solutionsBe helpful and friendly, willing to go the extra mileBe relaxed, flexible and able to handle a few curveballsBe ready to have fun!
