The Food & Beverage Manager has the key responsibility of ensuring that all Food & Beverage outlets, Conference and Banqueting operations are managed as successful independent profit centers, ensuring maximum guest satisfaction and consistency in line with Hilton International standards. This role will achieve these through the key strategies of planning, controlling, organizing and marketing.

As the Food & Beverage Manager, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

This includes training and development programs to be in place to enhance team performance and uphold the hotel’s service standards.\nConduct regular performance appraisals and provide feedback to improve individual and team effectiveness.\nEnsure a superior guest experience by delivering exceptional food and beverage quality and service. Resolve guest complaints and feedback promptly, maintaining a professional and courteous approach. Anticipate guest needs and personalize their dining experiences.\nOversee daily operations of all food and beverage outlets, ensuring efficient workflows and timely service. This includes monitoring inventory levels and ordering supplies to maintain smooth operations.\nMaintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and presentation within the food and beverage areas.\nEnsure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations in all areas of food preparation and service.\nDevelop and implement strategies to achieve revenue goals, control costs, and maximize profitability. This includes preparing and managing departmental budgets, including tracking expenses and managing labor costs.\nMonitor and analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights to senior management.\nCollaborate with chefs to create innovative, seasonal, and culturally relevant menus for all dining outlets. Review and update menus regularly to stay current with food trends and guest expectations.\nWork with the marketing team to create and implement food and beverage promotions and special events. Ensure the hotel's F&B offerings are aligned with brand identity and market positioning.\nDevelop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers including negotiating contracts and pricing with suppliers to ensure quality products at competitive rates.\nEnsure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding food safety, alcohol service, and labor laws.\nPrepare regular reports on operational performance, guest feedback, and financial outcomes for senior management.\n\n

 

What are we looking for? 

\n\nBachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, Business Administration, or a related field.\nProven experience (5+ years) in a food and beverage management role, preferably in a full-service international hotel.\nStrong leadership and team-building skills.\nExcellent communication, interpersonal, and experience in delivering extraordinary guest experience.\nKnowledge of food safety standards, sanitation regulations, and labor laws.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail.\nFluent in English and Bahasa Malayia.\nStrong financial acumen and experience managing budgets.\n\n
