Summary
ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a Food & Beverage Manager at the Waco Convention Center. We are seeking a unique F&B Manager to join our F&B team. Under general supervision of the Director of F&B, the Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for the following duties and responsibilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Includes the following:
Hiring and Training of all Food & Beverage Servers, Cashiers and BartendersMaintaining labor costs and budget goals.Fulfilling the service per each Banquet Event Orders (BEO).Maintains an active role in local hospitality community and professional associations.Attend in-house event-related meetings and relays immediate changes with other departments.Maintaining all Banquet equipment cleanliness and annual maintenance.Maintain a Health Department score of 90 or higher.Must be creative in designing buffets and coffee break décor.Attention to detail and consistency in every aspect of service is a mustPosition is very hands on with excessive interaction with clients during events.Ordering linen and maintaining uniforms.Responsible for Inventory Control, Beverage Inventory, ordering, receiving and controls.Responsible for Payroll, Cash Handling and banquet ChecksDaily contact with the Food & Beverage Director, Operations Managers and other convention center employees. Other duties as assigned.Supervisory Responsibilities
Supervises all hourly F&B StaffSupervises and trains contract laborTraining of all banquet and bar employeesQualifications

At least four years of management experience in a banquet facility servicing meals for large eventsMust have high school diploma or equivalentPhysical Demands
