Are you an F&B Manager looking for a change of scenery? Horseshoe Bay Resort is looking for a new leader to oversee one of our many restaurant outlets. The F&B Manager must be able to manage and develop staff while providing excellent customer service for our Club members and resort guests.

Required Certifications:

Minimum age requirement – 18+ (21+ if driving licensed Resort vehicle). Food Handler’s Certificate. TABC Certificate. Valid driver’s license and ability to meet the requirements of driver insurability as established by the insurance carrier required. Must be computer literate, able to type 40 words per minute. High school diploma or equivalent. Knowledge of Food preparation and service. Knowledge of Agilisys, valued but not required. Encourage OSHA Hazard Communication Standard training and certification.

Definition:

The Food & Beverage Manager must be able to manage and develop staff while providing excellent customer service.

General Duties:

Provide excellent customer service. Maintain the proper Horseshoe Bay Resort image. Develop training manuals. Implement training standards, train, and develop staff. Administrative duties which include scheduling and payroll. Maximize sales potential. Take Inventory and place orders. Provide excellent service to our Guest and Members. Interview, hire, and discipline staff in accordance with company policies. Organization and assistance with managing grills, bars, golf events, and beverage cart.

Employment Standards:

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Multi-tasking. Neat in appearance and well groomed. Maintain proper associate uniform standards and footwear which is slip. resistant, enclosed toe and heel. Must be able to comprehend reading materials. Must be able to speak, read and write English.

Physical & Mental Requirements:

Must have the physical strength, stamina and agility to perform the assigned duties. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Must be able to use hands and arms, balance, stoop and bend. Walk and sit as a daily routine. Ascend/descend stairs as a daily routine. Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures. Report work related accidents, or other injuries immediately upon occurrence to manager/supervisor. Report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to manager. Requires problem solving abilities. Maintain a clean, safe and environmentally responsible work environment. Must be able to interact with co-workers and have a sense of TEAM.
