The role you’ll contribute:

This position works with the department director to evaluate, direct, and manage the function and structure of food and nutrition services of AdventHealth System at AdventHealth Hospital, AdventHealth Behavioral Health Center, and AdventHealth Rollins Brook, ensuring that all facility expectations and regulatory standards are being appropriately monitored and adhered to for all food service operational and clinical nutrition standards.

· Delivers strong operational performance by continually employing LEAN principles throughout the departments while monitoring operations, and completing assessments and necessary action plans to provide quality food products and meal service, and to drive patient and customer satisfaction.

· Provides overall direction for Nutrition Services Supervisors and front line employees, ensuring employee development, engagement and compliance with SHARE principles.

· Provides primary direction and leadership in ethnic diversity, appropriate recruitment, selection, and development of staff.

· Ensures compliance to food safety, sanitation, and overall workplace safety standards.

· Prepares departmental reports as outlined by organizational policies and procedures in a timely manner.

· Monitors use of department supplies, equipment, and adherence to efficient time management and utilization of organizational resources.

· Interacts with department employees, organizational staff, physicians, patients, families on an on-going basis.

· Interacts with external contacts to establish and/or maintain good relationships with vendors, community resources, and professional alliances.

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :

Minimum qualifications :

Five (5) years of direct food service operational management experience with budgeting, inventory control and purchasing.

Bachelors degree preferred

SafeServ certification preferred
