Sodexo is seeking a Food Operations Manager 1 - Athletics for University of Texas Austin located in Austin, Texas. This Food Operations Manager's main focus will be on ensuring day to day operations of the 15 Fueling stations that provide food service to student-athletes representing Olympic Sports Teams. The Food Operations Manager will work in collaboration with current Performance Nutrition staff, Sports Medicine staff and interns. The incumbent will be required to work daily shifts within the Fueling Stations.
Primary responsibilities include: managing inventory and procurement for all 15 fueling stations across campus; oversee stocking the Athletic Fueling Stations at football (Moncrief), basketball (BBR), baseball, softball, tennis, swimming, track, and in B2 of DKR stadium, including budgeting, inventory, ordering, scheduling, receiving and distribution; collaborating with TANC Dietitian and Sports Performance Dietitians and interns on best fueling practices; as well as some training and supervising of student interns and/or workers. Must possess the ability to adhere to and comply with Sodexo, University, NCAA, and SEC rules and regulations.

Qualifications & RequirementsBasic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience – 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
