Location: Worcester, MA
40 hours per week
Ensure the overall operations of the Food Pantry, and work together with other staff to keep the Food Pantry functioning at a high capacity.
QUALIFICATIONS
Answer all calls related to the Food PantryMaintain all records according to the policiesWork with other departments regarding statistics, and referrals of clientele, etc.Coordinate Volunteers that will help at the pantryResponsible to schedule and obtain the food pickupsMake sure the Food Pantry is clean, neat and in order (organizing and stocking shelves, maintenance of refrigerators and freezers, sweep and mop floors, inspect and clean shelves everydayClient intake and assessment prior to food distributionSupply clients with information regarding other services within the community.Perform other duties within the scope of the position.

Sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or occasional continuous basis.Grasp, push, pull objects such as reference materials, files, file cabinet drawers, and reach overhead.Ability to load and to change settings, devices, fixtures, on various equipment used in and around an office environmentOperate telephone and other electronic communication devices.Operate various other office equipment including personal computers, copiers, fax machines, and scanning equipment.Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally.Ability to travel throughout the Division via car, train, or airplane.Ability to be creative, original, intuitive, and perceptive.Ability to think logically and critically.Ability to envision a project from beginning to end.
