**Unit Description**
Sodexo is currently seeking a **Food Production Manager - 3** to join our Campus Services team at **Xavier University of Louisiana** in **New Orleans, LA.** The **Production Manager** will report directly to the General Manager and will be responsible for inventory, ordering, and day-to-day oversight of all culinary operations at the account.

**The successful candidate will:**
+ **Have 3-5 years operational management experience in a high-volume food service** dining environment.
+ Be a people person with a **strong focus on maintaining positive client relations** ; a solid manager/leader who is **perceptive** and has **attention to details that make a difference** – quality and presentation of food.
+ **Be SERVICE focused–** including providing excellent customer service in a welcoming dining environment.
+ Be proficient in use of online Food Management Systems for menu/recipe planning, ordering and inventory;
+ Demonstrate proven financial acumen/success: Food costs/ labor costs, budgets.

+ have food service experience in a high-end establishment, _preferred_ ;
+ can manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and have a passion for a high level of customer service; and/or
+ prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed.

**Qualifications & Requirements**
Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience – 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
