Food Runner
Overview We are looking for a motivated and energetic Food Runner to join our team! As a Food Runner, you will play a key role in ensuring that food is delivered promptly and accurately from the kitchen to the dining area. You’ll be the crucial link between the kitchen and the guests, ensuring exceptional service and an enjoyable dining experience. If you’re passionate about food, customer service, and working in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities Food Delivery: Deliver food from the kitchen to the appropriate table quickly and accurately. Maintain Food Presentation: Ensure that all dishes are presented according to the restaurant's standards before delivering to the guests. Assist Servers: Support servers by bringing additional items like condiments, drinks, or refills when requested. Communication: Relay any guest requests or feedback to the server or kitchen staff promptly. Cleanliness and Organization: Keep the food running area, including service stations, clean and well-stocked. Coordinate with Kitchen Staff: Ensure food is plated and prepared in a timely manner, communicating any issues or delays with the kitchen. Guest Interaction: Provide friendly and professional service to guests, ensuring that their dining experience is positive. Team Collaboration: Work closely with waitstaff, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Safety Standards: Follow all food safety protocols and restaurant hygiene standards. Qualifications Previous Experience: Prior experience in a restaurant or food service environment is a plus, but not required. Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and carry heavy trays of food throughout your shift. Customer Service Skills: Friendly, professional, and able to interact with guests in a positive and helpful manner. Team Player: Ability to work efficiently and cooperatively in a fast-paced environment. Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy in food orders, presentation, and delivery. Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in busy periods. Flexible Schedule: Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds. Ability to stand and walk for long periods. Quick on your feet and able to navigate busy dining areas.
