THE JOB:

The primary responsibility of the Food Runner is to serve guests while providing courteous and prompt table-side service.  The runner must be able to describe all dishes brought to the dining room in a detailed manner and answer pertinent questions.  By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW moments and memories they will carry with them far beyond their stay with us.

THE STARTING RATE:  $15.3803 / Per Hour + Tips

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Welcome guests warmly and positively, ensuring they feel at easeServe food promptly from the kitchen to the table, following the service sequence and instructions from the Chef or kitchen expediterProvide detailed descriptions of the dishes upon serving and address any questions about the menu itemsExplain menu features, including any updates or new additions as necessaryCoordinate with the expediter to ensure accurate delivery of food to the correct table and positioningComplete assigned tasks for opening and closing procedures efficientlyRelay guest requests and feedback to the kitchen and management, and assist in maintaining smooth operations and high-quality serviceInspect and maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables and chairs, and keep your station and service area organized and tidy

Hours of Operation:Wednesday – Sunday:  5:00 PM – 10:00 PMMonday - Tuesday:  Closed(May work before/after these times for opening and closing procedures)

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

Must be 21 years of age or olderMust currently hold or be able to obtain both a Food Handler’s card and Alcohol Awareness cardMust be able to work various shifts, including weekends and all holidays

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Six (6) months experience in a high-volume fine dining environment as a Food Runner or ServerAdaptable to the demands of a high-energy restaurant environmentDemonstrates strong proficiency and passion for customer serviceTakes pride in their work, can multitask, and describes themselves as detail orientedEnjoys problem-solving and is adept at handling challenging guest scenarios with professionalism and tact in a fast-paced hospitality environmentCollaborate effectively with team members, fostering a positive and cooperative environment to achieve collective goals and deliver exceptional results
