Our hotel, which has 296 guest rooms, is located next to the Fort Lauderdale beach, half a mile south of East Las Olas Boulevard.

The ideal candidate will have 1+ years' experience as a food runner, prior customer service experience. The ability to work the required shifts and able to work outdoors for the entire shift.

Shift Pattern: Part Time (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday) 10:30AM-4:30PM

Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour

What will I be doing?

\n

As a Food Runner/Beach Server, you would be responsible for maintaining and transporting all food products for a designated outlet or outlets in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

\n\nPrepare and replenish foods for hot and cold buffets to include, but not limited to, fruit, juices, cereals, bread, hot food, etc.\nReplenish ice and maintain time and temperature sanitation standards\nTake orders and enter in the POS system\nMake drinks according to cocktail menu \nTransport food items to and from the kitchen\nCheck, maintain and control inventory of food items\nRestock outlet(s) with inventory and break down the buffet to clean, replace and set for next day\nPerform general cleaning to maintain cleanliness of work area\nPut away food stock and dry goods according to established standards\n
